Attention – Manual Bail Design:

To minimize line twist, it is advisable to manually close the bail arm after casting when using any spinning reel. Sizes 3000 & 4000 allow you to close the bail by turning the handle, while sizes 5000/6000 & 8000 require manual closure.

Note: The handle will not automatically close the bail; this performance feature on larger saltwater reels is intentional and designed for optimal function.
